ICARE Support Living Services was founded in 2023 by Jameson Jean Baptiste and Olguine Laguerre with a simple but powerful belief: every person deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and purpose. Inspired by compassion, resilience, and the desire to create meaningful change in the community, ICARE was built to support adults with developmental disabilities through person-centered Independent Living Services (ILS) and Supported Living Services (SLS). Jameson Jean Baptiste, Co-Founder and Program Director, brings a strong background in leadership, human services, and community-based support, with a deep passion for empowering individuals through independence and self-determination. Co-Founder Olguine Laguerre, with her nursing background and experience supporting individuals with disabilities, shares the same commitment to compassionate care, advocacy, and human connection.
Our vision goes beyond providing support — we strive to empower individuals to build confidence, develop life skills, strengthen their voice, and achieve meaningful independence while remaining connected to their families and communities. At ICARE, we believe that true care is not about limitations; it is about recognizing potential, creating opportunities, and walking alongside each individual on their unique journey toward growth, self-determination, and a better future.

Our mission is to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. We help individuals build confidence, strengthen daily living skills, and become active members of their communities. We believe every person deserves respect, opportunity, and the support needed to reach their full potential.
